Bruce Jenner's transition will mean some changes for the family, but the most important thing will remain the same: The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star will always love his kids.

Kendall Jenner, especially, knows the dad who's loved her since the day she was born will continue to do so, and on Monday, she Instagrammed a heartwarming throwback of Bruce telling her just that.

The heartwarming photo collage includes a picture of a much younger Kendall smiling as she gets a hug from her daddy. Years have passed since these videos were taken, but the sentiment remains the same. Kendall, of course, knows Bruce is forever her father and friend, so she captioned the sentimental snap simply, "always."

Kendall is confident her father's love for her is unconditional, but that doesn't mean his transition hasn't been emotional for her. During Part Two of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce special, she tearfully recalled seeing her father dressed in women's clothes when she was younger. "I feel bad," she said. "If that's what makes you happy, and you had to sneak around at 4 a.m. because you didn't want to scare me and Kylie Jenner?"

Bruce admitted it was tough telling his children, saying, "I don't think I've ever been as scared in my life as I was to be extraordinarily honest with my kids."

Kendall isn't concerned as much about herself or her siblings—she's focused on Bruce. As she put it, "I'm more worried about how people are going to treat him...because he is honestly one of the greatest people I know. He wouldn't hurt a fly. So to think of someone giving him hate or not being OK with who he wants to be and what makes him happy, that scares me and it's more of a worry to me than anything else."
